Our Partner to the IBA EH&S Law Committee

Our name partner, Mr. Héctor Rodríguez Molnar has been appointed Vice-Chairman of the Environmental Health & Safety Law Committee of the International Bar Association for the period 2013/2014. This is a distinction he receives with great pleasure and satisfaction as a recognition of his many years of involvement in the protection of the industrial environment. Mr Rodríguez Molnar has developed a consistent corporate practice with a sense of environmental awareness that have identified him as a leading lawyer in these areas.

The Committee is now Chaired by Mr. David Estrin, with the Canadian firm of Gowlings Lafleur Henderson LLP and includes a broad regional and worldwide representation. For a complete list of the Committee Officers please browse

Héctor, the Irish lawyer Conor Linehan (Assistant Vice-Chair) and the newsletter Editor. Klaus Mikael Metsä-Simola are the European representatives sitting at the Board. As Spanish member, Hector’s main responsibilities will be to liaise with environmental authorities and coordinate Committee actions within the Mediterranean Basin Countries, even though he will be pleased to entertain any projects or initiatives from other European countries.

The new Board members will officially take office during the IBA Conference in Boston next October 2013.
